Why is T-Mac struggling to score this season?
He's my favorite b-ball player and hes like my role model but I hate to see him struggle. It seems he wants to pass more and score less, why is he passing the ball so much and not taking more shots which he's so cold at.

It is simple, T-Mac could go out and average 40 points a game if he wanted to. Of course if he did that the Rockets would only win about 30 games! You need to look at their system like Shaq and Kobe were in LA. Yao is only getting better and for the Rockets to join the elite teams out West the ball has to go inside to him and then get kicked back out to T-Mac when the double team arrives. Sometimes they will need to post and re-post the ball in to Yao... this will free up everything for all of the other Rocket players on the floor. I am sure that this been preached to the team in the off season and everyone is trying to give it a chance. Steve Francis would not pass- and he ended up being dealt away. This is a learning process and hopefully it will help Houston after the all-star break.

I too miss seein the old scoring mcgrady. I think the same thing can be said about Kobe also. These two players are both known for their scoring ability and being to dominate that way. However, both have become more passive and are trying to get their teammates involved. Also they both have undergone some physical problems, Kobe had the microfracture surgery, and Mcgrady had those back spasms from last season. I know what ur saying, because I too miss seeing the mcgrady that used to score 25-30 points a game. However, I saddly think those days are a bit over. His focus is only getting his teammates involved and helping Yao develop into a great center. But maybe this passive attitude is only temporary. I don't know? But what I do know is that I really miss the old t-mac.

T-Mac said himself on TV the other week that his role has changed... he wants to pass more and get other teamates involved. I think he need to dominate still, he's only 27! Plus he missed so many games last season do to those back spasms it's hard to get back in the rotation. I hope he goes back to his old ways where he's a dominate force!

I dont extremely have a issue with Hamilton or Prince, yet I even have intense self belief in Gordon. He could be a enable down at circumstances, yet he will attempt his toughest to get the job finished. He can in many circumstances be a prolific scorer, if elect be, and merits extra credit then maximum folk provide him(he's over payed in spite of the undeniable fact that, I agree). i think of the Pistons wont be all that undesirable this 12 months. i think of they'll marvel a great variety of people, including your self, in spite of their retarded coach. in my view, i think of the Knicks are way worse than the Pistons, yet it particularly is in basic terms me. You do have stunning factors and your statements look nicely concept out in spite of the undeniable fact that. i actually cant see the Pistons being worse than the Knicks whilst the Knicks are absolute rubbish and characteristic plenty drama such as you stated formerly. additionally, i desired to assert that I thoroughly agree including your lineups for the Pistons. i could maximum in all probability do an analogous if I have been preparation them.

its not that mcgrady doesnt want to put up 27 points its that he was gon for a long time last year, and isnt used to the intensity and speed of the game, his shot isnt the best because his not the old mcgrady, insead of taking shot he might miss ,he is getting his team involved. sooner or later he'l find his shot.

Yao has been playing really well, so he has no need to score, he has become more of a distributor which is good
