You are working on existentialism. Yes, I would still be here. You, on the other hand, are nothing but a character in my dream.

hey! it is good question!

But, I don't know if you are joking or what?

If it is joke, hen it is a joke!

However, if it is serious; then a man can write a book for this good question.

From the philosophy point; closing eyes mean 'death'

The interpretations are many; such as 'I am the King of World' When I DIE, the World would die!

hen if you close your eyes and "die" in fact I "die" too! Because you can not see me for ever, hen you think that I died! HAHAH It w

SO, what message your question has" BE happy until a last second that you are a live; Because when you OPEN your eyes, I would be a 'Live' too; then our eyes would find a game to play!

This is a reassurance for two solutions/answers. If you want to ignore some-one, closing your eyes is a good second best for blotting them out as a distraction, make believe that they are not there. On the other hand , if you love some-one , closing your eyes , then opening them again to find them still there, is very comforting, good friends do not go away.

Well, Lost Shadow. You decided to ask a question similar to the traditional, "If a tree falls in a forest but no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?"
Philosophically it's an interesting question.
Scientifically, it's a silly question.
The closing of eyes or the lack of ears do not change the basic laws of physics.
If I were there before you closed your eyes, I would be there when you closed them - - unless I was reeeaaallllllly fast.

If I or anyone else were not there simply because of the blink of an eye, then vision would be the sum total of our reality, and we would be without the other 5 senses!

Probably so or probably not. Many things could change with a blink of an eye.

you sound so sad, i feel like you just lost someone. im assuming you are remembering how you are towards each other. it scary, hope you get help, you need a friend to lean on and pair of ears to listen to your pain and suffering.....

if im your friend, i will still be here. that is how i treat my best friend, my husband and people who needs me...

but if you are planning to do something terrible to your life or self, please don't. its not worth a try, be with your family who cares and loves you...

Considering I wasn't present to you when you wrote your question, won't be present to you when I finsh writing my answer or when (if) you read my answer, the odds are good in any event I'll still be where I am and you'll be where you are.

Isn't that reassuring?

Depends on the color of your eyes.
