Minor bruises take 4 to 7 days to heal. Moderate bruising can last upto 10 to 12 days. severe bruising can go beyond 2 weeks. people with fair skin has more prominent bruising but with dark colour skin same amount of trauma will create equal amount of bruising but will be less visible. But healing time is same in all skin colours as healing process is not a racist process.

ok, I just discovered a sore place on my shin. oh look it's slightly discolored and tender to the touch. Must have banged my shin into something. Right now it's red, tomorrow it'll be purple, then start to turn yellow and then disappear. Maybe 4 days. Hockey player takes a puck just above his eye brow. It's red for three days before the accumulated blood begins to drain into this eye cavity and it looks like a black eye from his temple to the bridge of his noise, from his eye brow to his cheek bone. Three weeks later he's looking better but not ready for a close up. I took a line drive off a Jose Canseco foul ball in the hip and it never "bruised" at the surface, but my doctor told me that the deep tissue was bruised and it was sore for months. So it depends. Where are you bruised and from what or who? If it's visible, when it starts to turn green/yellow it's almost gone. But so long as it's deep colored it's gonna last a while. Hope it helps.

small bruises heal in like a week. big bruises should heal within... lets say 3 weeks. when i have bruises i dont notice them for long they go away rather quickly. a tip.. try not to push down on it or hit it into anything tho that could make it worse of course. if the bruise is really really intense, like from a car wreck or something, ive never had experience with these but i would say it could take a whoel month in some occasions :(

properly I fell on a sidewalk and its been very nearly a month and its nonetheless bruised. Your bruise is in all hazard black for the reason that your pores and skin were hit against steel. The it will turn blue/purple later on. It additionally relies upon on the guy(i understand many each and every physique is asserting this...). My bruises take continuously to heal thoroughly so i do no longer think of your bruise will take a month like mine.

it depends on the size of the bruise. a bruise is congealed blood in your tissue. eat pineapple, the bromine in it breaks it up faster. I had a massive bruise after a severe fall in which my eyelid was cut very deep (2 layers of stitches). I ate a pineapple each day and the worlds worse black eye was gone in 4 days.

For minor bruises, just a couple of weeks. For something more severe, over a month. I hope you are okay!
