As a kid I had no idea that we were poor. I grew up thinking that everyone wore hand me downs. I found out when a couple of snobby kids made fun of me for my clothes. I pushed them down. LOL.

poor, i dont wear hand me downs though since i am the only child but i know since then that we are poor, at an early age i learn to restrict my self on toys since i am aware already how much my parents can afford for me. i am not a brat though i am the only child, i remember before a cousin of mine got a lego and i want to have one too, but my mom asked me to do houseworks and i will paid so i have money to buy a lego and i was 6 yr old that time..but now i guess i am no longer poor (lol) coz i am hardworking and my perseverance will help me pull through anything ( i hope)

Even from a extremely young age (5 or 6) I had a strong understanding that we were poor. Know that I'm in my 30's my, I'm poor in money, but I've realized I'm rich in other ways.

When people still lives in their childhood ...they are people that care so much about material stuff ...a very down to earth woman it is tellingyou that Richness are what we have in our heart...richness is family and Richness it is God !! do you know about why Judas was so upset with Jesus ....was because he was waiting for this amazing King coming to Jerusalem and he showed up on a donkey ,barefoot, and very poor .....that was the king of the world ...who we are? to make ourselves dress better than him ....do not worry child take care

Financially I think of myself as kind of poor, I have school debt.
But in life I am rich! I have a good life filled with people who love me, including myself. No amount of money could bring anyone that.

I'm a middle class person. We're not poor 'coz we have a lot of expensive things and I own a computer. We're also not rich 'coz we haven't any car.

I am poor but satisfied with my simple life... most of the time i live in my own means... i am probably poor but i am not so ambitious about many things i could not have..... so its up to you how do you look at yourself.... by the way.... i am the eldest.... so i havent expereince the hand-me-down... nnot like my siblings.....

well i think we were not rich but not poor either we couldnt get the really cool stuff for christmas as kids like those hotwheels for kids that were a few hundred bucks.. but then again we got things like bikes and stuff and my parents got me and my brothers our first cars i mean they were all cheap used cars but they ran and we were to excited at the time to even care what it looked like

as a kid we always had some money because my mom was always frauding someone! but as a adult now i see my self as perfectly happy. not rich or poor right there in the middle.
