Honestly, I've never seen such horrid English skills as I've seen here. I don't want to seem arrogant, but some of the users here need to get a good book on proper usage of the English language.

It's not only in this forum but ANYWHERE you look! The atrocious way most people use, spell and punctuate words is almost universal, no thanks to SMS and a deteriorating educational system. And I don't even speak and write English as a first language. (I'm Filipino.) That's why the Check Spelling and Spell Check buttons are useless and ironic in this computer age.

It's the interweb, this place offers a lovely break from the compulsive need of society for everything to follow rules and regulations. Here everyone can be themselves and make their own rules, I tell you what it's a real break especially after writing essays at uni where even the slightest error and you can say bye bye to marks.
But that's no real excuse here I guess seeing as there is a check spelling button.
But still enjoy the break, chill out and make some of your own rules ^_^

I don't know that they've been officially suspended, but it certainly appears that there's a de facto suspension.
