We have a grassroots group of neighbors who are not fighting the development, but we are trying to save the parkland space next to it that belongs to the citizens. Our City has illegally swapped part of the parkland and we have forced a special election to take place next month so the citizens can vote on whether to reverse the land swap. But already the developer has begun bulldozing the parkland before the election! We can't go to the City to get it stopped because our officials are on the developer's side. They are the ones who voted to swap the parkland! We want to go before a county judge to request an injunction. Where do we start? Is there a certain legal paper we fill out? We don't have money for an attorney. Please help quickly before all our space is ruined.

Call your State's Attourney, then call the EPA.

Call the state or federal agency that monitors the parkland. That information should be posted somewhere on the park site, with phone numbres and addresses. Good luck.
