Seriously, could you ask for anything more?

After a long stint of "crap" I think just an air of normalcy would be reason to celebrate life being great :) and I'm very fortunate to be able to do just that!
Why is it so great? I've come to a point in life where I think I finally have the lessons I was being thrown but wasn't quite catching and because I finally "got it", it seems I am being showered with abundances that before I could only dream about and watch them escape me.
In just 5 years we've gone from the blackness of wretched times to the mountain top of bliss really. Things are coming to us that before we struggled to try for but never really were allowed to hold...now they are falling into our laps faster than we can make decisions about whether or not we want them. It's a very odd sensation to say the least but now, unlike before I think, we are not prone to the materialism, egotism, exceptations etc and because of that, we've changed into people who are satisfied to be where we are and enjoy what we have.
Sometimes when I think back on everything I recognize the type of people we were and I hardly recognize the comparison...I much prefer who we've become and if being these people we've gained the favors to have many good things come to us now...maybe now because we are far more appreciative, then I will continue to work to always be the person I am now because that right there is what is making life so great.
Could I ask for anything more? I don't think I could...but I actually do ask that my family and I continue to enjoy happiness, contentment, joy, love, caring, safety and whatever abundances we are worthy of recieving...if any.
Before I'd have simply asked for what I wanted...I don't do that any longer I guess because I'm far too afraid of ending right back were we were :)

Life is so great because it is so dynamic.
I could've ask for more but I chose not to because I know I have more than other people out there.

( atleast i am not like the 8 million kids who r living on the street without parents, shelter or food)
