To make a long story short, i went to a bar, i got too drunk, stumbled all over the place and managed to sit on some bubble gum. One of my friends drove me home in her car, now her leather has bubble gum in lots of different places.

Of course, i made the mess, i have to clean it.

So please help me, what's the best way to remove bubble gum from leather seats?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

Oh, btw, sorry if i'm adding additional details but i forgot to mention this as well.

I'm from the Philippines, so most products might not be available locally, if you have any solutions with just plain household materials, those would be great :) Thanks!

Try using Memorex Air Duster (it`s compressed air in a can) Make sure you wear eye protection and have a credit card handy. Hold the can upside down and spray just a little now start cleaning it up with your credit card. It should come off real easy thus no smell. Good Luck to you! You could try mineral spirits but it will leave a smell. Good Luck!

try to gently scrape off any that you can see sticking up, then get something from the laundry department at walmart that lists gum and sticky stuff as something it removes and give it a go, start on the smallest area first. if that one doesnt work you might go to a car parts place and ask if they sell anything to clean things like that off leather, good luck.

Take an ice cube and hold it on the bubble gum for a minute and it will come right off.

oh dear, what a pickle!!

okay, try not to panic!
first try dabbing the seat with another piece of gum it may stick to it and be pulled off.

If that doesnt work freeze the gum with ice cubes and try to scrape it off. GOOD LUCK!!!

ice- It will freeze it and then you can chip it off. This also works if you got some in your hair while you were tipsy. Note of interest: other things work, too, but the water from the ice won' t leave a stain.
