maybe a dictionary, or a book on the English language. That way you can borrow it, so you can learn to talk like a person, instead of all that lazy abbreviated crap.

find out what kind of sports or music groups or events he likes and buy him tickets to it.--every guy would love that. he could take one of his buddies if youre not into sports. if its a concert, or something you both like--then you could both go
