I can't believe people actually did that.

I had to work on Friday (I work at a meat packing plant...this is our busy season).

Like you, Raven, I hate to shop. I do all my Christmas shopping online.

What kind of sale is so good, that someone has to camp out the night before to save how much on a gadget that will be that same price in a month or two?

The Big Boxes (Wal Mart, Best Buy, Bed Beth) all got together and said "HEY! We can take advantage of Black Friday lunacy!"

And people fell for it.

I didn't do it this year, but I have done it for the three years before, and I LOVE IT!
My husband loves it too! The whole process of getting up and going to the store while it's still dark, rushing through the store to get the best bargains, trying to get those x-mas presents at really really good prices, then having everything done by 10 am.
Oh yeah!

No. I made sure I snored as long as possible. I WAS slightly tempted to sit outside Best Buy, and attempt to buy one of their laptops for $250, as advertised...but in the end, I just turned over and adjusted my pillow.
