An Amazon is a legendary tribe of women who purportedly lived in either South America or Southern Africa (the stories vary) and were a tribe solely of large, almost giant sized women. They would go on raiding parties to capture men to use as slaves, breeding stock to keep the tribe alive, and for sacrifices. They were supposedly nomadic in nature, never staying in one place for too long, so that they would never stagnate as a culture, never have to worry about inbreeding, and never be caught by males out to hunt them down.

So they formed a tribe of all lady's whot fought for their rights and were experts in weapondry...
