i think everyone is talking about this. the family sat down after turkey dinner and talked about this and the end of the world for geesh almost 4hrs. i think we have grown as a society but its like taking two steps forward and one back and then sometimes taking one forward and two back. its give and take. the future is unknown but if we keep on the pace of what we are doing america isnt going to come out so good in the end if you believe in the end. the government well i look at it like a business cuz thats what it is and finaicly they are not good, there trying to protect us but it seems they always act to slow on every matter. the outlook in my eyes is not good but im no politican.

American society... Americans in general are jerks (no offense my fellow Americans). I admit it, I too am a jerk, but I know it, recognize it, and am trying to change it. Americans over indulge, a lot of us are pigs. Americans eat eat eat and if you don't eat people think you have an eating disorder! Oh, so and so didn't eat breakfast today, she must be annorexic. Now people all over the world are starving, and not just in Africa, but there the Americans were yesterday, cramming more food down their throats. We have feasts with multiple side dishes and someone out there is just happy to eat an orange. Why do you think Americans are so fat? It won't get any better in the near future either. It will just get worse. America is the best example of the seven deadly sins out there. All you Americans, me too, should think about the less fortunate the next time you over eat, or buy on impulse.

I think that our future as a country is pretty bleak. We are rapidly succoming to the world government advocates. The problem here is that as we become more involved in a world government, our standard of living will be brouight down tremenously. At the same time, the poor in other countries will rise up a tremendous amount. It is already happening in China. Our government is allowing the importation of goods from other nations with out requiring those nations to import our products. Thusly, our dollars are flying from our country to theirs. Our poor are getting poorer, while their poor are getting what were our jobs. The manufacturing that used to be done here is now being done in China, Viet Nam, Mexico, Russia, India, Pakistan and a host of
other nations. Many of these other nations are using our dollars to fund terrorism in their nations and others as well.
Right now I think that our government is to damned busy fighting amongst itself to take care of it's citizens. And if the citizens of this nation do speak up extremely loudly, we will be engaged in a civil war before to long. Take a look at what the news services in the US are promoting. They are doing their best to stir up trouble between the two predominate parties. The problem here is that they appear to HATE one party and adore the other. They have been using every Hot button topic they can find to undermine one party in particular. The Republican party. They use raceism, at every turn, they use the illegal immagrtion problem, they use the poverty of other natioins, they use the mothers of dead soldiers, they twist the truth and sometimes out in out lie. Even when they are found to be mistaken they do not admit it, and have not once to my knowledge appolgised for their mistakes. This stuff will lead, in my opinion, to a civil upheavel that will drive this country into the ground and leave it open to a political take over by some outside source. The leaders of the middle eastern countries are already having a huge influence on our governmental elections. Look at the way they have. 1. Raised oil prices to an all time high, at the very moment that we are holding an election. Have you noticed that a week after the elections the price of crude dropped fro $74.00 a barrel to $53.00 dollars a barrel? And our citizens have fallen for it hook, line, and sinker! Are we really that stupid? Yes, it seems to be so. 2. Klled more American soldiers at that same time than ever before in Iraq. This in my opinion and the opinion of countless government officials on both sides of the isle, worked very well. And it is only the first time they will use it. Believe me, there is a lot more to come. And our citizens will fall for it!
Yes, our future is bleak at best, unless our people wake up and see what is gong on. And it is not only our government, it is the news outlets of our own country that are at fault. We can not trust them any longer either.
