Would you be mad?
I saw in my husbands phone a text message from 2 weeks ago saying: You and your boy cant say hi? Lisa." He had her # under the letter L. He said it was his friends ex. I called her and she sounded very honest and nice. Would you be mad if you saw that? I was (not anymore cause i stopped and realized i trust him) and he thinks i was over reacting. He said the reason y he had it in his phone is cause his friend (who i know used to date her) used to call from her phone sometimes.

You said the message asked "You and your boy can't say hi?". Why would I be jealous of a woman writing a text message to my man about how he's OBVIOUSLY ignored her?! LOL That makes no sense. If he were interested in her she wouldn't have to text him angry that he didn't even say hello. So no I would not be mad. Also, I DEFINITELY would not have called Her (just makes you look like an insecure, jealous potential loony-toon) finally it's unlikely that I would have even said anything to him but to jokingly say "Oh you and your boy can't say hi to Lisa? Shame on you!" with a giggle then I'd just wait to see what HE had to say about it. Also, why are you looking through your man's cell phone? Is it that he can't be trusted? Or are you insecure?

Reminds me of the saying "what you don't know won't hurt you." The cell phone has changed so much in relationships especially when it comes to text messaging. To me reading text messages is like going through your spouse wallet/purse and that just isn't right. So my answer is that I would have to be mad at myself because I had no business reading my spouse's text messages.

Jealousy will destroy a marriage as surely as infidelity. Quit smothering your man. Everyone needs _some_ privacy, married or not. If I woke up in his shoes, I would see a lawyer TODAY and let you make some other man's life miserable. I would bet the text thing is only the tip of the iceberg.

If he cheats he _will_ get caught. Until then, let him breathe, or risk driving him away. And fix whatever (makeup, your weight..etc) that is making you so insecure.

Nope wouldn't be mad or worried. I'm not the jealous type. I don't believe my guy would cheat on me. If he did then It would be the end of our relationship. He knows this. We would try to salvage our marriage before any other person came between us.

I would be upset and suspicious especially because he had her name under a code almost by using just the letter "L" I would just try and keep my eyes open for other signs and hopefully there would not be any!

if you really trusted him you would not be looking at his old text messages.....and if this text came from a friends x girl then why did he keep it in his phone???? Now you will always wonder who he is talking to , who is sending text messages to him and who he really wants to be with....

You should be suspicious... I talk to my ex on the phone and I tell my husband I talk to him, but he's not happy about it. Of course I say there's nothing going on...
