I am extremely hairy all over my body except the back (where the hair is fine). I have BDD with this problem, especially the hairy butt and hairy eyebrows, ears, stomach etc...I have had electrolysis between the eyebrows and ears, which has helped. However, it is too slow. Laser is expensive and usually not permanent, I have given up on removing my body hair.
I hate looking at my body in certain lighting as the body hair looks gross. In certain lighting, it looks okay.
Do women mind having sex (especially oral, which I have never experienced) with a hairy guy? Is it okay if I prefer it in the dark as I don't have to see my body than and can feel more confident? Also, my hairy crotch area often smells a bit if there is sweat there. I have heard that this scent actually attracts females, but I find it smelly. What do the ladies think?

Women vary greatly in their preferences. Some women like hairy men, some women like shaved men. It sometimes depends on the mood of the woman as to what she prefers.
If you wash frequently, the smell won't be so bad. It might be stinky to you, but to many women, that smell is an aphrodisiac. I myself get turned on by bodily smells, so I would probably like it. As for the hairiness part, the only hairy turnoff for me is a hairy back. I don't know why, it just is. A hairy chest, stomach, arms legs, crotch, @ss, etc, is just fine, but a hairy back is a huge turnoff. *shrug* I guess people just have their own unique preferences.
It shouldn't be too hard to find a woman who is turned on by a hairy man, but one thing to warn you of--if you insist on having sex in the dark, and you seem hung up on your body image, the woman may mistakenly think that you are hung up about HER body and get upset. If you think you have body image issues, talk to a woman sometime. You'd find a kindred spirit, I guarantee it.

Well I believe that issue is more of a personal preference. I personally do not like hairy men and I know alot of women who dont also. I would suggest that you become comfortable with your self in order to be comfortable with being nude in front of others. Having a hairy crotch is really normal, most men do not shave so I am sure woman are use to that. I think that a shaved men is the best and as for the order you might be having. Well the odor is coming from the hair, since hair holds older it is best to either shave your hair or keep it trimmed very low. I hope that this help..

Some women dont mind hairy guys at all the fact that you say your crotch area smells is a problem. If you shower correctly and keep clean there should be no problem the smell is most properly that the hair is trapping the sweat

hmm... I'm not a big fan of hairy men to be honest with you, and I definetely do not go down on a guy who's got a smelly crotch. Have you considered waxing? As for the odour issue, it's a good idea for you to get those non-chafing underpants, which should reduce the smeel and try washing down there more often, particualrly before you go out or just beofre you have sex. good luck!

my boyfriend is pretty hairy and i dont mind it at all. its really manly and behind closed doors in the bedroom it doesnt matter. as for the smell, i do recall there being SOME odor down there, but i also recall it not being unpleasent. its just a smell and i think there might be some sort of "pheremone" [sp?] that is a turn on to women cuz its never bothered me. believe me, its not all about hair. thats a turn on for a lot of women. u'll be just fine.
