Hello, I want to be a model also, and have a lot of experience with it. Modeling is very different from pageants, just to let you know. Depending on what type of model you want to be, there are general height requirements. Such as fashion models -- 5'9" to 5'11", etc.

Different agencies prefer different types, so check into all kinds of agencies. By going to their website, you can find a place to send photos. Just always make sure they're legitimate. Try agencies like Ford, Wilheminia, L.A. Models, Irene Marie, IMG, etc.

The most important advice I can give you on modeling is you never have to pay money, to become a part of a modeling agency! Once you are accepted, and you make money on your jobs, your agency gets a percentage of that money. That's how they get paid. Also, you never have to take your clothes off to be a model, this is one of the most unfortunatly common things, in modeling scams.

Research, be smart, and don't fall for those scams and into the pitfalls of modeling. You'll be fine if you do these things, as Tyra Banks quoted "A smart model, is a good model."

You have to be about 40% below your ideal wieght, always hungry, able to warn off or give into numerous sexual advances, be involved with the drug scene, wear uncomfortable and revealing clothes, be nothing but a sex symbol and basically give your soul to the industry.
