I go to Wal Mart and they say "we only carry 32A bras in the little girls dept". It is also true in many dept stores. I often find more selection for 32A in the girls dept than in the womens dept.

I waited for so long to grow to be a 32A (which I reached at 16 and they never grew anymore). And that's considered kids size?!

Technically, AAA-A cups are considered training bras. However, I'm pretty sure that if you go to Victoria's Secret, they will carry 32A's for you.

I've noticed teens these days seem to be well endowed... every store should have 32A in women's. I know how you feel, I spent forever as an A and finally reached a B like a year ago, I was psyched. my older sister though is still a 32A and always will be. she used to be jealous because I was always bigger than her but a little while ago she just accepted it and now she's a lot more confident and she looks better just by how she carries herself. I feel we were given what we have for a reason, 32A looks good on her body type, and bigger and she'd look ridiculous, I assume your's probably fit you perfectly too. you should be proud. I think smaller is better, bigger ones that are real are often ugly and saggy. as far as finding bras I know target has a very good selection of 32A and actually Victoria's Secret does too, if you're looking for something fancier.

I also think it's a shame how our ideals for pretty come from porn, where as long as your boobs are big, you pile on the make up and you're blonde then you're pretty. it's terrible, I admire someone who looks pretty with AND without makeup and who can carry herself proudly even if she's not the ideal barbie doll.

32 A Bra

More young girls wear smaller sizes like a 32A than older women.
It doesn't mean it's just for kids...it just means that parents are looking for more appropriate styles of bras for their young girls to wear.
So more appropriate bras for young girls are going to be in the kids department. If smaller sizes were with more mature sizes, then parents would be upset because their 10 and 11 year old daughters would be wearing frilly red silk bras with black lace as opposed to the less "mature" styles which are more appropriate.

So why not recognize that some grown women are a size 32A? Because most older women with that size don't wear bras all the time as opposed to women with larger breasts. Of course little girls that size want to wear bras to be more grown up.

That's my take on it.

I was at JCPenneys last week & they had many 32A sizes in their lingere department. It was a crazy overstocked maze of too small bras for my needs. Try going there. I also noticed that the 99cent stores always have an abundence of the "smaller sizes". There was a time (many years ago) that 32A was the smallest you could buy in a woman's size. Anything below that was tagged as a "pre-teen size". Things have changed. I can't find good old 100% cotton in a decent style, so I feel your frustration on this subject! Happy Hunting! :o)

That clerk was completely tactless and the person who decides product placement could also use a course in sensitivity.

Mass market stores are NOT usually known for hiring staff with lots of experience and sensitivity training,.... but considering what they pay, what do we expect?

Retailers try to maximize their use of shelf-space by having each product in only one location. Unfortunately that means having to decide where things "belong".

My local Wal-mart has one mega-department for ladies, little girls and teen girls. All undies, bras sleepwear etc are together, solving the problem that your location has set up for themselves.

The other side of your complaint might be: Why do they carry nothing above a 40D? TAKE A LOOK AT THE FEMALE POPULATION and consider what percentage of women are "above average".

I wear 44DD and would LOVE to have even half the selection available to you! Cute stuff in my size is tough to find! I get white, and occasionally black..... I'd be thrilled with all the colours I see available in smaller sizes. And while you might choose to go bra-less,.... for me - that is NOT an option.

To the previous answerer, who said larger bra size comes with big behind: Check your facts sweetie. I guess my genetic lottery ticket only got me double-up for the upstairs package, as my behind is quite normal, Thank you.

Stores group things by averages. Young girls are 28 -32 AAA - B, "normal" sized woman are 34 - about 40 B - DD(E), plus sized is 38 and up B - J+. It's dumb since it leaves out "odd sized" people like 32 G or 40 A, but they do it. Sorry they weren't more tactful with you.

They have 32 As at Target with all the other sizes. And they have cute ones too. I think even Victoria Secret's has some 32 A's

Don't shop at Wal-Mart. To get good underwear that actually fits, you need to go to a lingerie store. I love La Vie en Rose, but I have no idea if that store exists anywhere but here.
