I need good topics to write poetry about.. any ideas.. the best topic will get the points.. thanks

That's a good question when i use to write poems i usually wrote about my feelings and how i was feeling at that time. Another thing you could write on is life in general your op ion on the politics and how you would do things differently.

Write about the example of an older relative in your life - grandfather, grandmother, etc.
Write about an occasion in your life when you found yourself thinking differently afterwards. Maybe it was the first day of school or maybe the death of someone you knew.
If you're having writer's block, sometimes it means you need to go someplace new and different and see if you can get a fresh experience to write about - best in nature, if possible, in my opinion. Good luck.

Write about things you know about. Things you have experienced or loved about life and living. Write from your own memories, do not try to write in someone else's style. Think on a topic that pleases or bothers you, and write about that.

Write about something that happened to you, maybe as a kid. Try to remember how the experience affected you at the time, and also the person you were at that time. Use lots of imagery and internal recollection. Make it your own. Write about something you remember vividly.
