My sister loves to sing musicals. She is a horrible singer and she is ruining all of the songs from 'Chicago' and 'Phantom of the Opera'. She can't carry a tune and it is annoying. She sings all the time. It is pretty sad. What am I to do?

I have the same problem, my sister sings all the time and when she is not she's reading books in a loud voice........ do the same to her; for example if she is sleeping or something make noise and tell her you will stop if she stops when you tell her!! I dont know if that will work, the issue is quiet complicated because your parents probably find it cute when she is singing..... maybe talk to your parents and say that her singing is distracting and you have been getting into trouble in school coz your homework was not accurate due to the distraction you are facing..... try a few things hopefully your sister will get bored of this song soon. if you can then go into another room, shut the door and shut the door of the room where your sister is singing. or buy a lollipop for 20p and tell your sister that she will get it in the evening if she doesnt sing for an entire day. anything, think of something, attract her with something she likes....... Give her some money and say her to stop singing. If then also she is singing you just adjust with that.

ohh this made me laugh when i was younger i used to sing my head off with my walkmen on and i would drive my 3 brothers,mom and dad crazy they would scream all the time at me "SHUT UP!" they started kinda making fun of me and imatating me when i had them on so after that i kept it down.. im not saying make fun of her but mabey sing ur kind of music really loud around her and see how she likes it

I hear that some people get their dog's voice box removed to prevent them from barking - this is usually done on show dogs.
Maybe something similar could be done with your sister.

Me too!!! My sis does the same thing, and can't sing for her life!! I just tell her to stop, and then she sings louder!

Maybe tell her dat other people are saying she sings really bad and she should stop if she really wants to sing she should take classes!
