You will have to use a solvent. Something line Goo-Gone or Graffiti Remover are great products. If you have some WD-40 hanging around you can try it first and the follow up with a regualar spray carpet cleaner.

just keep rolling your fingers over it, it should ball up and clean the area itself, its a bit like an eraser, , if that doesnt get the whole thing out, try a product called oops. good luck.

Rubbin Alcohol nothing else works not even paint thinner

Try nail polish remover or any thinner like paint thinner./try goo gone.
