deb, it is possible that you are just skipping a month ~ menstrually speaking~ it doesn't matter how old you are! stress can cause this... dietary changes can cause it... sometimes it just plain happens. i'm in my 30s and it has happened a handful of times to me. good luck!

weeeeeeeell, you could have a too-low level of hcg in your urine, which means it's undetectable. Or you could be having a hormonal shift & it's just late. I had a scare a couple years ago, with more symptoms than just a missed period. It was just changes in my body chemistry, I guess. And now.....well, I've been regular for almost 2 years, with a variation of 3 days or less, until just a couple of months ago, when it backed up about 5 days, then 5 days last month. And now I'm past my "regular" due date, and NOT sexually active. So......however that works.
If you're that concerned about it, see a doctor. Otherwise, wait a couple more weeks & try another HPT. After that, you almost SHOULD see a doctor.

Could be a false negative. You might want to go to the doctor and get a blood test. They are much more reliable. OTC Preg tests test for a certain level of hormones. You could be pregnant and not have that level of hormones yet. Or you could just be late. Being under a lot of stress could make you have a late period or even not have one altogether.
