Make up makes u look older or youngeR?

i think make up makes me look older.. with make up i look like 30 ... without it i think i look younger(my picture) .. i actually 25

yr views?

like i said i think with make up i look older coz i have kids (about 15 yrs) calling me AUNTIE... that is so terrible huh

If I wear a lot of eyeliner, mascara and lipstick I look older. With shimmery things like eye shadow and lip gloss I look a little younger.

I am a licensed beautician, and it all depends on how you do your make up. I have always been lucky in looking older then I really am. At 15 I had an 18 year old boyfriend who when he first met me thought I was at least 18. Yes when I do my make up I normally look alot older but I also have friends who tell me when I wear alot of make up or more then necessary that I look like I am trying to be older. Just put on the basics, If you dont want to look 16 where a brown or gold tone eyeshadow some mascara sometimes a little eyeliner helps to brighten your eyes and a light shade of lipgloss and not lipstick either. Dont line your lips with a liner 2 shades diffrent then the color you are wearing. And just add a little bronzer to your face not blush. Bronzer just highlights your face and adds some color. And if you dont like your skin make sure if you do use foundation you use the perfect match for your skin. And try a mouse or powder based foundation not a liquid. If it looks like you wear make up most people will think you are younger trying to look older because thats what alot of girls do I see it alot in my carreer.

We woman put on makeup to look better, and in some cases feel better.. I would not got out of the house now without some kind of makeup on., Reguardless to say I work at a place that does not allow makeup.. Have to use natural bases, which all is to make you look more like you are not wearing any.. so could look darker,, not of which I wanted to look older. and you are only 25,, why make yourself older... Enjoy your 20's!

Make up can be a good thing and a bad thing. I my opinion wearing make up covers up the real you. Know depending on what kind of make up you wear will determine the age. BUt to give you a answer i would have to say make up makes you more appealing to others and sometimes will make you look older.

Alright. Well....it depends what you wear and how you wear it. If you wear some thick black mascara and white shimmery shadow, with some pink lip gloss, you will definitely look older and more sophisticated. But, if you wear bright blue eyeshadow with splashes of red blush and bright red lipstick, you'll look like a little girl playing dress up. If you know what you're doing, you should look older! ; )
