Mavs because they have one of the deepest benches in the nba, all spurs do is give the ball to Duncan and let him put the ball in the hoop off the backboard, and if their down 1 with a couple secs they put Horry in to seal the deal

Spurs!
The Spurs have the chemistry and the experience. Dallas lost a lot in the off season and didn't pick up too much. I think the Marquis Daniels trade was a big loss for them. They lost Van Horn and Armstrong as well. Armstrong was a great influence on the whole team.
The Spurs made a few great moves in the off season. Nazr and Rasho were not required. All the Spurs need at the 5 spot is someone to stand next to Tim. Oberto and Elson have exceeded expectations. Getting James 'Flight' White was great too.
Manu has been OK, but not great. Parker has been great and Tim is in the best form he has been in for years! Brent Barry is starting to do what we all thought he would do when the Spurs first signed him - he's nailing the open 3.
I question what would happen to the Mavs with one injury to any of their starters.
I have to give the edge to the Spurs, but these are the two best teams in the league.

That's a good question. If u watched last night, the Mavs won. But if u also watched the Mavs' home opener, they lost to the Spurs. But seriously, i think their pretty much equal. The mavs are a great offensive team, while the spurs are a great defensive team. Both have good benches, but the Spurs are getting very old with players like Horry, Barry, Duncan, Finley. Their all about 30 something, while the Mavs have a younger team. If i had to choose someone, I'd take the Mavs. I love their style of play and they've proven from last year, that they can beat the spurs. But seriously, I think that a matchup between both of them is pretty much like a coin toss.

In truth the Spurs are a far superior team. The Mavs are solid but they have not done a good job of replacing the talent that they have lost to free agency over the past two years... on any given night if Dirk is hot the Mavs can beat anyone but the depth of the Spurs would really destroy the Mavs in a seven game series.

I would have to say Mavs because the Spurs are an old team and Manu isnt having his best season, but on the other hand Tony Parker and Duncan are having a very good season. Also they need a primary score, it switchs between Duncan and Parker

Spurs, because they have the best head coach in the NBA, they know how to play defence, they have one of the most dominent big man in the NBA: Duncan. They also have a very good pg with Parker, and Sg, Ginobli, as well as many other offensive weapons.

The Spurs have 3 Championships, not 2... 1999, 2003 and 2005. The Spurs are just too deep, too much experience and have one of the best 3some of scorers in the NBA w/ Duncan, Manu and Parker. Plus they are very well coached which is huge.
