If you could have a conversation with anyone in history, who would it be, and what would you like to talk about with him/her?

Charles Shultz. I think we all missed something very deep within Charles Shultz. I am a Christian and one of the first things that opened my eyes from Atheism was the Charlie Brown Christmas Special. I remember saying " Now that's the way I wish Christians would present the Gospel" Then I realized that it was a Christian, a very special kind of Christian. Charles Shultz. He died on the very same day that the last Peanuts newspaper strip was being printed. That is just plain weird. I really want to know more about him. I actually owe him my life.
Crazy huh?
Great Question.

There are a couple of people I'd like to have a conversation with of our history: Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X for the obvious issues regarding the Black Struggle (I'm black).
I think I'd want to talk to Marilyn Monroe because she was so misunderstood because of the way her life began, no one understood why she did what she did, and I think she was a lot like me. I would like for her to open up her life with me one on one.
I'd also like to interview John F. Kennedy because to see what ideas he had, what and how he was going to bring them to light, just to get to know him on a personal level as well. (I had a secret crush on him.)
I'd also like to interview Lee Harvey Oswald because we have shared a lifetime of experiences though we aren't the same gender or race. I don't believe he killed President Kennedy at all but I can relate to him in a number of ways. (He was from New Orleans and I'm from New Orleans, too. I had a secret crush on him, too.)

Hmm... I've thought about it.
Jesus.
I'd ask if the bible got what he said right or not, and whether other stuff like the gospel of thomas is really what he said as well.
I'd ask him if he thought the Da Vinci Code was one of the worst books ever written too, and of course you'd have to ask how much truth there was to all those rumours about him having kids...

like to talk with the historical jesus of nazareth, me being able to communicate with him, and to discuss the hardship that would be laid at the feet of so many over time, and even now. I would discuss with him alternative methods for getting his message out to the masses. I would introduce him to television, by which he could bypass the established churches and deal directly with the people. many many of those who lead in religion, regardless s of what form, are guilty of the murder of thousands of innocent people
I would try to encourage him as to how his message would be untarnished by any man's hand. the purity of his messages to the people, the strength of his 'suffer the little children......' . give a message of unification of the world to end the messes we now have and have had over time.
there is no end of what a person could talk with, ridiculous as it sounds, that we could do it, and yet, by writing here, and reading here, we are doing just that.

Hitler. Of course I would have an interpreter, mein Deutsch ist sehr schlekt. I would really like to talk to him about his childhood and his service in WWI. It would be interesting to deconstruct the man, find out what went wrong and when. He was a kid once.

No one.

I went through the whole list.
There's nobody I'd actually like to sit at a table with and BS on a topic of my choosing. Just write the manuscript and leave it on my desk. Die, whatever. I don't want to talk to you.

I would like to talk to Jesus but I don't really need to as I already have the Bible, so I'll go with Gandhi! & I would like to ask him why he did what he did, how he could be so calm & peaceful & if he has any advice for me! =D

By the way I liked your question!

Jesus. I wouldn't talk about anything. I would just listen. That's hard for me to say, too, because being a teacher myself, I love to talk...but he is the greatest teacher of all time and I would like to hear what he told all the people of his time.
