They keep trying to. Actually it'd be closer to a semi-autonomous country or region, similar to what Scotland is becoming to the UK. Having more home rule, but still technically part of the Commonwealth.

No. In law it will be called a nation inside of a nation. Still a part of Canada . Everything will just stay the same.

It will never happen.
The french Canadians get drunk start mouthing off about breaking ties with the rest of Canada. then like their European french cousins they surrender.
