If democrats win in 08 will it be record number of democrats in office at one time?

No, I'll bet there were many in office in the Carter years. I remember those gas lines do you? Of course me and my sisters were hot teenagers and would walk up with 5 gallon jugs, to fill the family car. We had a family of 5 girls and 3 boys.

The Democrats will win in 08 although we will have a male president. No matter what the republicans do or say from now on will make no difference anymore. The only saving factor for Bush would be to get those troops home, pronto. But he won't. So more will die or come home minus a leg or an arm, or with post-traumatic stress disorder or some other mental disorder.
The Democrats will take over. I can only hope that they prepare for all of the garbage that will be left over after Bush departs.
(and by the way I am not a Democrat or Republican or neocon nor do I embrace any other political affiliation. . I do not sip from a common cup of other people's knowledge. I just think for myself, as many others should.)

Focusing on the work that is required for straightening this country out NOW is a better use of your brain cells.

Name your local, state and federal leaders for your area and then start writing to them about your concerns. Living in the NOW is extremely healthy and may save America from further destruction.

Besides the first answer, I'd have to say the keyword here is "IF"... They've got to prove they can run the country (and they've got ALLOT of proving to do) as-is first.
