you will have to access the cd rom drive manually. go the drive you have your cd rom on.......E, F, D, whatever it is, find the game in that drive you want to play and double click to open it. to access it manually, right click on the start menu, select explore, the list will come up and you can see all your drives from there. hope that made sense.

open my Pc and you will see your cd rom unit with the sims logo double click on it or left click and select execute
that should make the auto execute to start if it doesnt you can open the cd as a folder and select the install or setup file and it should work, other wise it doesnt work and you sould return it

Find it and click on it.

On a pc, you go to start... run... and type in the disk drive that its in, or go to my computer, and cd drive... and find auto install
