I would let them live. I would also forgive them for trying to kill me.
Killing is killing, and killing is wrong. It doesn't matter if someone tries to kill you, that doesn't mean that you return the favour just for revenge.

I would gauge out his eyes first, then slowly break every joint in his body , including his fingers, toes, elbows, and Kneecaps. Then I'd take a dump in his face, pluck all hair from his body one by one, saw off his penis, beat him in the stomach with a stick until he pukes, (anything he bleeds I would force back down his throat) Nail him to a cross, Set a fire and burn him until he is almost dead, Then finally extract his internal organs slowly out through his nose one by one with a fork and knife.
Too graphic.
Dude, I'm kidding I would never do that, no matter what. Nobody deserves that. Being the nice guy I am, I would probably give him a second chance.

Kill 'em. Too many people depend on me for me to take the risk this cretin would pose. I'd do it as humanely as possible, but I'd do it. A bullet to the back of the head works just fine.

I don't think you'd really have a choice if you put it the way you're phrasing it. If I wanted to stay alive, I'd have no choice but to kill them. God forbid that I should ever have any enemies like this.

Is this for a game or real life? All (real) life is sacred. If it's a game, I would consider eliminating the threat and make them an example for others.

I would let them live after making sure they wouldn't put me in danger. I don't feel like having people's blood on me. I am not the one to judge them.

I guess one is forced to the cancer argument - kill it before it kills you.
I do believe in alternatives - but none would be acceptable in the current political climate.
