It depends on how you're doing it. The easiest way is to use a DSL switch/router like Linksys or Dlink . connect THAT to the DSL router, and then all your computers connect to the router. Most routers sell between 25 and 50 dollars and have easy setup programs.

people who thank me by making use of telling me that I "did a solid activity." people who put in a solid word for me, or brag on me. this is particularly the only way that i think solid approximately myself...i won't do something while not having the approval of somebody else. And in the event that they are asserting that i did no longer do a solid activity, or i replaced into sloppy, then it makes me particularly look down on myself. i choose to do some thing over if i think of it wasn't "passable" adequate. Now, what particularly makes me experience solid, is women that flirt with me...which seldom each happens, yet I do like it. :) great question!

if your "modem" has a built=in router, then it will have extra network jacks in the back.

With windows 98, you have to remember to run Winipcfg (start, run, etc). to get a new IP address.

get a router and then plug the modem into the router and then the computers into the router.
