The answer to your 1st question is YES... Joe can be married to Jane in State #1, and Joe can be married to Jill in State #2, simultaneously.
The answer to your 2nd question is NO... when you apply for a marriage license no one checks to see if you're married elsewhere.
Thus... technically Joe can be "married" to Jane & Julie & Joan in State #1 while also being "married" to Jill & Jenny & Joyce in State #2.
However, only the FIRST marriage, time-wise, would be deemed legal... all the rest would be deemed illegal.
Not to mention immoral & unethical... except for some very small sect(ion)s of Mormons/Utah.

nicely, identity theft does no longer make his 0.33 marriage no longer criminal. Are you particular this marriage isn't criminal? If it is no longer. then there are severe matters and he's the two an fool (this is available) or/and easily to no longer be depended on. the two way, if the female in touch needs to have toddlers... then she could look someplace else for the mate and DNA possibilities. Pre-making plans to have fairly stupid toddlers isn't a sensible element to do. If she does not care approximately having young ones, is basically loopy for the guy no count number what... then get out of how! reason she's slightly loopy too and is making bizarre possibilities for herself. If i found out that my husband became into nonetheless married to 2 different women in 2 different states.... sigh... (i might forgive one!)... gotta circulate!
