How was a day judged before the 24 hours were standardized? When was the measurement of time created? How was age measured before this?

Man did not create time. Probably the first he cared about time was knowing when it was dark and when it was light. Once he started growing crops, he need to know when to plant. A society needs to be fairly advanced before the ability to subdivide a day into measurable units matters.

A day was judged by the passing of the sun. People understood the time of the day, (at least, philosophers did) by the size and location of their shadow. Seasons were well-understood, and the passage of years were marked by the passage of winters. Age was determined by how many winters a person had seen and lived through.

the day was judged by positions of sun and moon as they had a big experience regarding this.
measurement time was created at 0 AC as they would have started from 0 and now we are at 2006

No one knows for sure.
By sun rise and sunset.
No one knows - lost in the dim past.
Some indications it was measured by the seasons.

the ancient babylonians were first to use the base sixty time system that is currently used today. they were excellent and accurate astronomers.

also, their entire number system was base 60 (as opposed to our base 10 system).

now remember, man didn't 'invent' time and to this day we haven't really defined time as to 'what' it actually is...

try to give a definition of time.......you'll see how dificult it can be...
