Oh, if it was only that simple. I will use US v. Iraq as a starting point.

Americans were shocked and angered by the events of 9/11, so much so that Islam became associated with terrorists. The fact that US leaders continued to refer to the perpetrators as "Islamic Terrorists" reinforced that belief, aided by the fact that _most Americans have never met a Muslim person (or wouldn't know if they had). If US non-Muslims dislike Muslims prejudicially, It's most likely due to xenophobia combined with media misrepresentation. For example, name a US movie or television program that depicts Muslims in a favorable light... Except for the thirteenth warrior (played by a Spaniard), almost all instead depict Muslims as terrorists or lackeys. Given this background, and the collective desire of Americans to punish the "evildoers", is it any surprise their wrath was so easily misplaced onto Iraq?

The real question (to me) is why have US movie and television programs consistently misrepresented the character of the 1.3 billion Muslims on this planet?

We don't like muslims because we don't understand their culture!! As far as us attacking them in Iraq. That war had nothing to do with nonmuslims not liking muslims but everything to do with President Bush's selfish desire to seek revenge on Saddam Hussein for ordering a hit on his father! The 911 **** was just an excuse to kick off a war with him! Personally from what I see Muslim people treat you how you treat them and yourself!! If you are disrepectful to them and yourself, don't expect any respect from them!!

Wow do I see TROUBLE on this question! (I may not always be right, but I am never wrong!) Just give it time! RED FLAG: US attack on Iraq! Oh dear. I don't want a violation so I'll keep my opinion to myself & let everyone else get in on this so very controversial issue! (Should my nickname be COWARD? Hmm. Maybe WIMP is better.) Hey. How about just "wise?" I'm learning fast!

Because a majority of muslims seem to be missing important brain cells, to justify it's okay to blow up people for their fake god allah and on top of that get rewarded these "milky white virgins in heaven" that is not sane thinking.

Islam is a corrupt religion. Think about it, you will see it's not so peaceful afterall.
