The only reason I can think of is that they believe that this country parents should be responsible for the health of their own children, not the government. Afterall, if you can't afford to take care of the kid, don't have it. The government didn't make you have a baby. No one outlawed adoption or abortion for that matter yet....or contraception. Planned parenthood gives out condoms for free.

To the republicans out there, I have one thing to say.
You lost your job because of the Bush failing economy.
Your child is sick with a terminal illness
You no longer have medical insurance because of your lack of a job.
The hospital charges a preposterous bill, you know roughly $30,000 for the surgery he/she needs to survive.
You can’t not afford this
You need help from someone......so you ask your friends. They tell you exactly what you said, I wouldn’t have kids unless I could afford insurance.
So you go to the government for help….
Wait, those good old Republicans you so keenly supported didn’t sign in the health care bill.
What to do next???
Pray to god he/she heals? Beg on the street? Ask for money on the internet? Or reverse time and lobby the bill?

well first off you have people who have to many kids to take care of not to sound mean but that's a fact . if you work at burger king do you think you should have 3 kids and no insurance. we already take care of American kids by sending them to school feeding them there. i have no kids and i still pay the taxes. this is America if the parents cant afford insurance they shouldnt have the kids get what i mean. i wouldnt even think of haveing a child and wanting the goverment to take care of him or her. those people need to wear condoms and stop haveing dumb kids that want hand outs just like you. if you cant afford them dont have them in my case i just dont want none

1. It is not the government's job to provide health care.
2. People like me are sick of people like you who are so arrogant that you go around and tell everyone else what they can do with their money. It is my money, not yours. Go make a bunch of cash and shut up.

Because lobbyists for Insurance companies are making too much money with people buying insurance. The hospitals are making too much money off of the insurance. And the government is turning a blind eye to greed...
