that's true. there are some very immature kids who ask stupid questions and answer stupid. like, why would someone answer "i dunno"? then don't answer if you don't know! but then again, I'm 15 and i answer good and I'm not immature. and think of how easy it would be for kids to just make up a fake birthday or a fake email and say there over 18. its not hard at all. it would probably just end up being a waste of time, useless, and hard to keep up with.
and its not even a big deal. just don't answer their questions- its that simple. And if you want to help them, do it. it's now like their hurting anybody. They just want some answers! =)

I agree... and I am over 18... by a quite a bit...
but the only thing I fear... some of these questions... they are from people in their 40s I think sometimes...
I know some people who are perfectly nice people, but act like children when it comes to politics... they have tons of opinions, but don't keep up with the news, and often have no facts to back up what they believe... and they are 35, 40 even 50
basically they sound like 16 year old kids when they talk about politics...
while a few 18 year olds I have met are actually know quite a lot about the subject, and you would never guess they are that age on here...
granted though, many that age do act that age...

They should have their own but not because you don't want to deal with them. It would be better for them so they can have peer answers instead of some 40-some yearold answering their questions about friends and other things. I am under 18 and I think I give som good answers and only give an answer to questions I know something about.
Other than that I think every age should just get along

We, who?
We, parents?
Or we, just good people concerned that in this open environment children can be exposed to ugly stuff.
I don't think Yahoo should have a separate "answers" for minors.
Minors should get their answers from their parents, teachers and no one else.
Unfortunately there are a lot of parents out there who want to be as away as possible from their kids and the responsability.
These should not have kids at all.

As a Mom of 4 very intelligent kids I can honestly say that their answers on here when they were younger than 18 (one still is) would be better than most adults. There are adults on here that give dumb answers. It's not the age - it's the maturity level.

We tend to disagree on many issues, but I would STRONGLY agree with you on this. Questions such as "Bush is mean" or "Hillary is a lesbian" have no place here. This is for adult political discussion, and should include intelligent debate, not childish name calling. We should not have to step over the trolling, clones and stupid questions to get into the meat of politics. I would agree, though it'd be hard to enforce

I don't mind answering kids questions
some of them are darned interesting!
I do have a concern, however, for some of the very young people who are on here. I'm not sure how yahoo could possibly screen them out.

I think they can, but I think that it's good that they can ask questions and learn from others with more age and experience. If we older folks get tired of hearing the same questions such as whether someone is pregnant, we can just ignore the question and go on to those we find more interesting.

you dont have to deal with them, dont answer their questions, and bad advice is not age specific, if you dont like the answer you get ignore it. I find some of the things these kids say interesting, in a morbid way sometimes, was I ever really that young?
