I`m not sure if all of u had heard about it,
but In Indonesia, in Java island, there are a mud flood.

The mud flood come from the inner layer of ground and keep sprouting like fountain from underground to the earth surface strongly. It has occured for more than 3 months, and now, the whole city have dissapeared (drowned into the mud), and it`s keep continuing.

I`m afraid that the whole island of Java, and next the whole of Indonesia, and finally the whole of world fell into the mud.

in fact, few days ago, the other mud fountain appears in southern of Kalimantan island (Borneo).

Can u explain what kind of phenomena is it? and are there any possibility that the whole island will fell into the mud? (Something like Atlantic city)

The mud volcano may have started when a drilling rig hit a layer of overpressured mud or may have been triggered by an earthquake a few days before. It is one of the biggest mud volcanoes that has ever been observed and it could continue for years. "The mud is believed to come from a reservoir 3 1/2 miles below the surface that has been pressurized by shifts in the crust or by the accumulation of hydrocarbon gases." Because there is no sign that the flow will stop in the near future, geologists are worried that the mud could cover more villages-- The government has been building dikes to try to limit the damage and was thinking about pumping it out to sea.
Geologists do not appear to be concerned that it will cover the whole island, and it certainly will not cover the whole earth--there's not enough overpressured mud buried down there to do it. In fact, there is a local history of mud volcanoes in Indonesia, which are more or less near dormant--but people were just not aware enough of their hazard.

Mud volcanoes are caused when water travels through sediments under pressure. The pressure can come from ground settling or heat. What I know of your region suggests heat as the driver for the water pressure. The water itself can be from an underground reservoir or from the sea.
