How do you get music onto a PSP?

I have the cord and kind of got it onto the system, it says I used the memory but I can't find the songs? Detailed help would be awesome!

And I have the card. Brand new!

ypu have to have a memory card compatible with a PSP

You have to open the folder named "psp" and put the music in a folder named "music" nothing else or it wont work. Also make sure it is mp3 format. To do pics do the same but put it in a folder named "photo".
