most sites out there that claim compatability amongst the sun signs usualy go by a thing called synastry. in which they use angles between the two planets.
since each planet governs about 30 degrees of the sky. you can put together a nice little algorithm from just looking at the numbers of the signs in the zodiac.
1- Aries 2 - Taurus 3 - Gemini .... 12- Pisces
now given that just subtract the highest number from the lowest and find the difference below:
if the difference is 0 (same sign) you have yourself a good aspect, infact the best aspect for understanding its called a conjunct. (Scorpio)
if the difference is 4 or 8 then you have yourself another good aspect called a trine, which is also good for understanding and adds a little bit of spice... (Pisces and Cancer)
if the difference is 2 or 10 you have yourself the last good aspect called a sextile. which is good for understanding and supporting your weaknesses. (Virgo and Capricorn)
now if the difference is 6 you have yourself the exact opposite (which in most casses is considered a bad aspect but can be good when it comes to coupling up) (Taurus)
if the difference is 3 or 9 you have yourself a square which is the worst aspect. but can be remedied with alot of good aspects elsewhere in the chart. (Aquarius and Leo)
the others are neutral.
However most people who practice Astrology know there is more to a person then just there sun sign, there are 9 other planets, 12 houses and asteroids that are often keyed in when looking at synastry

scorpios doesnt match, we are full of **** and always want things our way and are to hard headded to give an inch to my advice to you is be single and if you have to keep with scorpio. atleast you will always know no one will win.
