both are yummy...but I'd go with milk chocolate

semi-sweet, the milk chocolate is too sweet when you pair it with the cookie -- but that is just my opinion. Although, my family says that I make the best chocolate chip cookies in the world :)

Actually, I use half and half milk/ semi-sweet. For really good results, I'd recommend using Ghiradelli choc chips, they are a bit pricier but I think it's well worth the extra money.

I always use semi-sweet to bake cookies with, but it is also different for each ones palate.

Cupcakes with white icing. Use the chocolate chips on top of the icing in a circle or a smiley-face shape.
