There was at least one. A man who's genocide against the Kurds can only be compared to that of Hitler against the Jews. 150,000-180,000 Kurds were gassed and executed in prisons during his "Round Up" campaign, his own words being it was a "population experiment". Bottom line Saddam Hussein was the only WMD needed in my book to justify this war, and that is enough. What think you all?

Bush caused that many deaths? Or is it a fact that this is an unseen enemy that takes many forms, including "innocents". Don't believe everything you hear. Take it from someone who has witnessed the enemies resolve firsthand, you don't want to know how many have died by their hands.

ARE YOU INSANE???

First, we MADE Saddam Hussein, if he was EVER a threat it is because WE CREATED HIM. Do YOU know why our government was so CONVINCED they would find WMD's (so named because our PRESIDENT cannot SAY the word NUCLEAR!)????

WHY????

Because WE HAVE THE RECEIPTS!!!!!!

Second, you cannot BEGIN to compare Saddam Hussein to HITLER??? 6 MILLION people man... 6 MILLION in like 7 years or so.. MAX... You cannot begin compare GW BUSH to those people who put a stop to Hitler's madness...

That is just asinine!!!

Thousands of dead American SOLDIERS and Iraqis is NOT worth proving that the Bushes AREN'T WIMPS!!

DO NOT kid yourself into thinking that any of this is ANYTHING ELSE!!!

I will agree with you on one thing, The ENEMY may be ruthless.. but they were NOT OUR ENEMIES until WE MADE THEM SUCH!!!!

Let us at least be honest and not continue to delude ourselves into thinking we are anything but imperialists with something to prove.

It is NOT WORTH THE LIVES OF OUR DAUGHTERS AND SONS!!!!

Humm. and we used cluster bombs when we invaded Iraq. Are you aware that Rummy had already brokered a deal with Saddam to leave Iraq before the war? and that Saddam had agreed? do you recall an American journalist interviewing Saddam on Saddam's turf less than three weeks before the 'war" began? If Saddam had thought Rummy was going to break the 'deal' do you think he would have STAYED in Iraq to begin with?
Is it always necessary to compare the Iraqi horror with Hitler's horror ONLY WHEN IT IS EXPEDIENT?
Did any Iraqi....anyone of them..ever ASK that Bush and his regime come to THEIR country and remove Saddam?
Did they?
Are you aware that there are people worldwide who view Bush with the same broad brush of horror as they did Hitler?
Know what you are talking about.
AND YES...the USA CREATED Saddam Hussein.....
Ask Donald Rumsfeld. Ask him.
See the next answer. He is absolutely correct. We do have the receipts because we SOLD Saddam what he "used on his own people"

Good point, saying he's the only WMD, and yes that would justify the war and our "wonderful" president says that that's why were there. But, he, and every other member of his cabinet knows more than well, ( while stuffing their pockets with cash,) that we are over there for a very good reason, and I can describe it for you. Its black, sticky, gasoline is made from it, wars have been fought over it, (including this one,) and its often called black gold. Oil, my friend, oil. The problem is, Rumsfeld resigned, so he can't get in trouble for the mess he has helped create not just in Iraq, but the entire world. IM NOT SOME ANTI-BUSH LUNATIC. Im just a person that hasnt taken the presidents word (lies) for the situation, and delved a little deeper into the truth.

You might wanna look into who gave Saddam Hussein those weapons that were used on the Kurds and who backed him despite those attacks because Iraq was fighting Iran. Yep, that would be the US and UK.

Saddam's first performance of genocide against the Kurds in 1983, after the CIA tried to cut off the money and WMD going into Iraq. Saddam then gassed the Kurds. Bush Sr gave him more WMD and more money. The second genocide occurred in 1987, when we tried to cut him off again. Bush Sr gave him more money and more WMD.

I am not saying that Saddam isn't a horrible person, but: A) A horrible person standing alone is nothing, one with the US CIA behind them is a menace. B) There have been tons of malignant dictators over the years, and the fact of the matter is, we have our own problems here, I think we should have kept our noses clean to begin with...

But wait-the US knew the WMDs were there-we still have the receipts!

(See, we sold them to Saddam back in the 80s-see Ronald Reagan)

I think he was a horrible person... as are many in the world... you could look at China, N. Korea, Darfur and see higher body counts...

but, all in all they are all horrible situations...

but just me... I would rather go after Osama, until the job is done, for 9-11...
