I don't think you need to have been through the same situation as someone else to be able to understand and connect with them.
It's just a matter of being open-minded and compassionate and understanding.
If you HAVE been through the same thing as someone else, then yes, it's easier to connect with that person.
But it's not a necessity.

There is no such thing as social intelligence. This was a fraudulent concept invented by liberals in order to advance the notion that intelligence doesn't vary in amount from person to person so much as it varys in quality. He may not be book smart, but he is street smart or better at dealing with emotional issues.

The whole thing was a fraud and intensive research into the idea found (gee...what a surprise) that these traits do not exist.

Not only do bad experiences not make you smart (socially or otherwise) but, since choice is the primary determinant of your experiences, I would probably find a strong correlation between suffering and being a total dumbass.

no because we all handle stress and troubles differently. the same bad thing might be view through a thousand thoughts and behavioral patterns No I don't think you have to go through the same thing as someone else to feel empathy you just have to listen to how they feel and know that is real for them

It could make it easier for you to empathize. This doesn't mean you couldn't empathize very well anyway if you haven't gone through a similar experience. I think it's about listening to the other person fully, concentrating on them, trying to see through their eyes and practicing empathy.

yes my friend, if anybody believe it or not, but you have to accept it. Its true and can't be edited, deleted and or changed. Have you ever heard of any unintellegent person taking of a bad thing? They can't go up to that level.
