In the WWII, there were 50 million casualties. Any kind of people were taken to concentration camps. So why is it called the Holocaust, only 6 million of them were jews.

it's true that there were all kinds of casualties in WWII, but hitler's plan was to exterminate the jewish people. it was a targeted attack against a certain group of people.

There was 50 million or whatever killings, not casualties.
Actually most of them were jews.
People who died in the battlefield were there with a purpose and a reason. Those who were sent to concentration camps, like they still are, in different wars around the world, are there because of human arbitration.
Mass killing is no light matter.

Holocaust means a massive slaughter, and refers to the genocide of European Jews AND OTHERS by the Nazis prior to and during World War II. History realizes that many others were killed along with the Jews, and they are included in the term "Holocaust."

the holocaust refers to the genocide of 6 million people, while WWII refers to the war fought to stop it
