It is all about money. If they get a certain kick back, for every site that is visited through their site, the pay has to be tremendous. Not to mention the money made by advertising on their site. It is too big, and it has far too many employees, not to be making some big bucks. And honestly questions are asked so fast and furious We are only hitting on a small percentage, so old questions are new. Also there are some very hostile, vile people who are bordering on professing criminal acts on here, and they need to go. Besides if they ever did close it down, and I don't feel that they will, Someone else will start another site.
Just wanted to tell You that I answered Your question about the 31st question, it had never happened to me before. But now it has happened twice, very strange, and frustrating. It still shows I answered, but the answer is not there. Then I went back and it had a 31st answer and two more. Guess they are as You said in Cyberspace.

yeah it's people sitting on their servers for hours at a time. So it wouldn't behoove them to shut down. Also if it's getting tedious then think up some new good ones, get creative, this one was good for instance. New people join every minute so we who are possibly on the brink of boredom can always look to the newbies to ask fresh questions. Think positive, the glass is half full!

Maybe, but why would they close down a site that's a bigger hit than any of the chatrooms ever were?
