There should be no reason to give a 10 month old pediasure.Breast milk or commercial formula and a little food is all the baby needs. If you give the baby pediasure then you are preventing the baby from getting important stuff from the breast milk or formula.Ask the babys doctor if you should. But even the most finiky eating 2 year old toddler a doctor will not recconmend pediasure for as long as the toddler is gaining a little weight and is getting all the vitamins, iron and mineral from food.So I dont think a doctor will want pediasure in a 10 months old diet.

Can I give my 10 month old Pediasure?

If he won't take formula or anything in a bottle, how are you planning to give him the Pediasure? I'd definitely ask the doctor if I were you. Most drinks like that are meant for toddlers, not babies. Your doctor is the number one person to tell you what's safest for your baby, not people on here. No offense to anyone! :)

Absolutley not! Its intended on children from ages 1-10 years of age. Your baby should be on milk/formula, plus babyfood/table food. Pediasure is only for children who are not getting enough nourishment. Your baby is only 10 months old. He is getting enough nutrients thru his formula and his baby food. I am a pediatric nurse. If your child was not getting enough nourishment in his/her body, your pediatrician will tell you. Otherwise, your baby is too young for pediasure. i wouldn't recommend it.

Why? Is your baby sick? Do you provide medical care for your child? Obviously, you need to seek the advice of a doctor, NOT the advice of "Yahoo Answers." Thumbs down on your parenting skills.

you can, but it's way addictive.
my friend's baby's first word was, "pedia" but she didn't say it, she was screaming for it.

be informed and beware.
