in our world today noone should hate noone for their color religion etc cas we are all mixed in some way everyone should love the preson of their choice no matter what they are i hate people who think thye are better then everyone else acturaly i feel so sorry for them whats yals thoughts?

Well - you've pretty much summed up what should be.
Unfortunately its not what's happening.
Everyone hates muslims - even other muslims of different sects. The result is a media frenzy of bombings, shootings and torture that ends up portraying muslims as violent fanatics. Although I'm quite certain that there are peaceful muslims out there - the fanatical minority are quite successfully destroying it for everyone else.
As for general intolerance - people fear what they do no understand, and in many places education no longer involves exposure to other cultures.
The end result is intolerance
Its unfortunate, but its ingrained human nature and if people don't fight for better education, and encourage open mindedness, we're only encouraging this...

muslims dont hate anyone. its only some ignorant muslims who dont even follow islam correctly. they abuse islam and give it a bad name. not all muslims are the same. muslims are those who follow islam the way it was revealed. they dont deduct or add anything and thats what complete islam is . if u add or substract anything from islam, its not islam. alot of people hate muslims not because muslims hate them(cuz thats not tru) but because they have the wrong message about islam. as u can see in the media nowdays, they literally focus on islam which is not even islam. they show false material and since tv is so popular, thats how people get their info and what they see they believe not realizing that its all false . so thats why they hate muslims so much. if they actually sit down with quran or a good islamic book and they read it and understand it then they wont hate muslims at all. i hope i answered ur question. thanks for taking time to read it. take care and salaam(pe@ce) :)

well, first of all, it is initially because of ignorance. Too many people base their knowledge on the media, and honestly, muslims aren't the only ones affected with this. I doubt Islam is all about terrorism and killing, its just a select few that just happen to be "terrorists"- which means a person that causes terror. Thinking that all muslims do is kill is just ridiculous; it's just like saying that all Americans are crazy serial killers that kill their own neighbors, or even that all Catholic priests just rape little children. And, this is just retarded. Before having some sort of negative opinion, one should research and be open about it.

I think people today hate one another because of their religious backgrounds, ethnic backgrounds, etc. The media has a lot to do with it also. It also depends on how you were raised as a child. If your parents were racist, chances are that child will grow up to be a racist and hate all colors of human life. Some tend to hate because of jealousy of another country's freedoms. I for one, do not hate people of other ethnic backgrounds.

I took an ethical diversity class. It was the most horrible class I've taken so far and the hardest. I don't get it either. I get along with everyone, as long as I'm treated with respect, then I'll respect that person. I find that most people who are racist are actually from their own race. Others are just put in categories and degraded. Just horrible to live in America and find that so many Americans are red, white, blue and racists.

People are usually afraid of things they can not understand and the best way to cover fear is to act angry and intimidating. We live in a world of fear and distrust and the only thing worse than fear for most people is to show fear. People are less afraid to show anger so anger and hatred prevail.
Its all a matter of distrust and misunderstanding. The funniest thing I've noticed is that people are afraid of themselves and their own power...I think if people truly knew themselves and had more self confidence, there would be a lot less hatred and fear. What do you think?

America hates because they think that they are better than everyone else. Muslims hate Americans because Americans hate them. All this hatred is there because no one take the time to educate themselves on the different cultures so that we can create an atmosphere for them that lets them feel accepted to be themselves. Muslims feel just as out of place as we would if we were in their country!! You just have to accept people for who they are and open up to them!! For example there was this muslim guy that runs a take out restaurant in my neighborhood. He had a standoffish kind of demeanor to him because he's used to people coming in disrepecting him. So I was cracking jokes and saying please and thank you in arabic and I was able to make him smile! And he loosened up! You just have to make people feel good about being them!!

well a long time ago Jew's ruled and that was the only religion so when some people said "lets make a new religion" the Jew's got mad at the people who said that. but when the people came to the people it was too late Muslim was spreading and colored people where being born because the Indian's where marring other jews so hatred came to the people

We give too much attention to differences instead of seeking our common grounds. People who need to stress differences to feel superior are the ones who are insecure about their reason to be around. If people minded more their own business and tried to solve their issues, they would be busy with that, and maybe they could become more understanding of everybody's strugle.
We are all in the same boat.
