Have you tried the Nuva Ring? Are there any side effects?
I am worried about gaining weight or having breakouts.

the one difference i have noticed is increased arousal and lubricant with arousal. the ring itself rubs me the right way if you know what i mean. not to the point of interfering with daily activity but my fiance is very happy that i am using it.

i love it because it is convenient as well. i thought at first that it would be uncomfortable and it isn't. the only problem i have is that sometimes it slips when we are having sex and if he pulls out and it comes out a little bit (this has only happened on one occasion by the way and we have sex almost daily so don't be too worried) and we don't notice and he goes back in it hurts quite a bit. but that's the only downside so i thin it is definitely worth it.

I don't get montly breakouts like I used to and the best part is you don't have to remember to take a pill everyday, at the same time for it to be effective. I use it now. I like it. I used Depo too, this gave me a lot less weight gain/bloating than Depo. I have to say though, I do get moody around my period like never before! It's much easier than the pill, and I think my skin etc looks better. You can remove it during sex if you feel it, but put it right back in. Sometimes I can feel it and it is uncomfortable, but that's kinda rare.

All birth controls are different for everyone. My body got very sick on Nuvaring....and pregnant actually. It was the first time I was on any type of birth control, so I could have been especially sensitive.
