Have you tried the Nuva Ring? Are there any side effects?
I am worried about gaining weight or having breakouts.

I've been on it for about four months now and have noticed no side-effects. in fact some co-workers have said i that i look like I've lost weight ( i wouldn't connect the two though ) and i have heard that the nuva ring is one of the better methods of birth control when it comes to preventing breakouts as well. but that may be hearsay as well. but personally i haven't had an increased problem.

the one difference i have noticed is increased arousal and lubricant with arousal. the ring itself rubs me the right way if you know what i mean. not to the point of interfering with daily activity but my fiance is very happy that i am using it.

i love it because it is convenient as well. i thought at first that it would be uncomfortable and it isn't. the only problem i have is that sometimes it slips when we are having sex and if he pulls out and it comes out a little bit (this has only happened on one occasion by the way and we have sex almost daily so don't be too worried) and we don't notice and he goes back in it hurts quite a bit. but that's the only downside so i thin it is definitely worth it.

good luck

I have been on the Nuva Ring for about four months and I love it. My periods are lighter than when I was on the Pill. I don't get montly breakouts like I used to and the best part is you don't have to remember to take a pill everyday, at the same time for it to be effective. My husband has yet to feel it during sex and it doesn't slip out, although it is possible, but you just have to put it back in. Also, the hormones are the lowest dose available in hormonal birth control so you don't have to worry about weight gain or anything like that.

I had it executed. you may seek it on the cyber web. I went in one afternoon and by utilising day after on the instant I went Christmas determining to purchase. little or no restoration. i substitute right into a sprint sore interior the tummy, even if it substitute into hassle-free and that i do no longer must be bothered approximately any injuries or something anymore. only an decision, yet you should be beneficial to do no longer choose for anymore because of the fact its everlasting yet effective because of the fact in case you have young ones at abode it extremely is an outpatient element and you do no longer must be faraway from them (a million hour prep, 30 minute surgical operation).

I was on the ring for about a year and noticed a decreased sex drive and irritability. If you decide to go for it, be careful because they can come out during sex. I did not notice any weight gain or breakouts. I averaged about one pimple a few days before my period started every month, which is my norm.

I use it now. I like it. I used Depo too, this gave me a lot less weight gain/bloating than Depo. I have to say though, I do get moody around my period like never before! It's much easier than the pill, and I think my skin etc looks better. You can remove it during sex if you feel it, but put it right back in. Sometimes I can feel it and it is uncomfortable, but that's kinda rare.

All birth controls are different for everyone. My body got very sick on Nuvaring....and pregnant actually. It was the first time I was on any type of birth control, so I could have been especially sensitive.
