The top layer of pebbles in my guppy's tank look kind of charred. There are 2 guppies in the tank. I just want to know if there is a health problem with my fish!

Clean the tank first just in case its bacteria or overgrown algea, and for the future get a sucker fish to keep your tank clean, they feed on the algea in your tank.

Try cleaning the tank out and the gravel sounds contaminated with algae.

Its algae.
that usually means the ammonia level is kind of high or it gets a lot of sunlight but dont worry just by a a "sucker fish" or pecostimous. just dont forget to clean you tank with a vacume

It could be algae. Have you given the tank a good cleaning lately?

Do you have a filtration system? Have you cleaned the tank recently? It could just be feces building up!
