I set the display settings of the game to the lowest, and still, it does not play smoothly (it drags)...what is wrong? is it because of my video card? if so, what type of video card will play the game flawlessly?

thank you very much....

Increasing your memory.helps with the freezing/getting booted/lag problem. You can increase your memory by.. going to start button, settings, control panel, system, advance tab, performance, advance tab, virtual memory, change it,make it 526kb or higher, click set then ok .If it’s not listed as Kb,” Some are not.” Just double the number listed. also go to this link and change your start up menu, too many un-needed programs running will make everything slow! i turned all off,and every thing runs fine.If some program is needed it will start up when you need it to.

Try adding more memory?

It all depends on how much you want to pay on a video card

www.ebay.com

search "video cards" and read the specs

you could also try calling your local GameStop/Best Buy and seeing what they recommend
