Yeah , alot, Sometimes one of us is talking about one thing and
the other person is thinking of something completely different and
or someone is speaking and it like goes over their head, they or I
do not really understand.
I usually blame Hormones for my problems.

Lots of times I've had that conversation.
There is one woman at school. Everytime I talk to her, she asks a lot of questions about anything that we're talking about. She listens very intently. Then the next day, I'll mention something about the conversation we had the day before and she gets it all mixed up. Also, I'll say something just joking like and she usually takes me seriously. lol
Now I just give her the gist of whatever story I'm trying to tell her. lol I also don't joke around her too.
Take Care,
Cindy

Yeah, it happened lots of times. Some of them simply didn't understand what I was saying, others didn't care or were too shallow to pay attention, others took it too seriously and almost scared me when they started supporting their own point of view in the conversation so strongly. But the worst type: the ones that don't agree with you. Lol.

It drives me crazy.
I will be talking to my husband, and he'll interrupt me to talk about something totally different. So, I know he isn't listening to me at all. Plus, no eye contact. He'll be looking all over the place, and sometimes even points at stuff that has nothing to do with the conversation.

I have the opposite problem, I will be serious, talking on a deeper level and those hearing me are only getting me on the superficial level. It even happens here on Yahoo Answers.

It is most uncomfortable. I find it best to end the conversation as quickly as possible to avoid offending the person, walk away and don't look back.
