If at any time you are trying to concieve you should treat your body as if you were already pregnant! Always remember that...

A fertilized egg doesn't implant into the uterus until about 2 weeks after conception, so you have a bit of a grace period there (no pun intended). Most everyone who's ever had children has probably imbibed before they found out they were pregnant and no harm has been done. Stay away from those things now, though, if you are pregnant.

I don't know about you, but alcohol and oysters (famous for being an aphrodisiac) make most people want to "get it on"...which could lead to pregnancy! So go for it, but don't overdo it. After all, you're only "trying" to conceive; if you suspect you're pregnant, you should cut out both. Good luck and have fun!

The osters are ok, but if you think you might be pregnant stop the alcohol right away. I would not drink if I were trying to have a baby.

if you are actively trying to conceive, i would encourage you to stop risky behavior (drinking alcohol, smoking, drugs, raw oysters, etc).
