How do you make fingernails grown faster? I hear that if you drink lots of water they will grow fast, is that true?
My fingernails take 2 months to even grow 1 to 2 cm.
Any advise on how to make them grow faster?
And if it helps in anyway I used to be a nail biter, I stopped a year ago, could it be the nail biting the in a way stunted my nail growth?

Thanks in advance! =D

It takes 2 to 4 months sorry, forgot to add that part in. Some times it seems like it takes 5 :(

About 2 to 4 months for 1 cm and I think about 6 or more for 2 cm. I hate that it takes so long, because when I'm cleaning or working on something and one breaks off right to the skin it takes forever to grow back and I hate not having longer fingernails. And plus it just looks weird to me...

I dont know why but someone told me eating Jello helps. But you should try putting on the clear polish to keep them strong so they are less septible to breaking. And always keep a nail filer with you so you can file the sharp edges so they wont tear.

I have beautiful fingernails and I feel like it's because I take a vitamin every day. I also keep them polished to help strengthen them.

I would have to agree with the others, use prenatal vitamins. Keep your nails trimmed, cleaned and filed. Also get rid of the extra dead stuff in between the nails and the skin. I believe its called cuticles.

take a zinc or multi-mineral supplement...also increase your protein and water consumption.
there may be an underlying health problem to bad nails, but this should work if you are otherwise healthy.
