What exactly did Batista do to deserve a title shot?

Last I heard he was having a bit of a losing streak plus he looks like he runs out of breath after every crappy move that he did, how exactly do that allow him to challenge for the World Heavyweight Title? Oh yeah, I forgot, Vince and the WWE rather give the title to a no talent steroid user whose only ability is to do that stupid dance at the enterance and attract pre-teen girls and have pre-teen boys think he is the best wrestler ever, rather than give it to someone like Chris Benoit that has NEVER had a bad match, never whines, never bitches because he's not getting the match he wants or complains because he's on the Smackdown roster (like Roidtista consitantly does)! It is official, Vince's ego has become out of control and he now doesn't give a damn what the fans want! It's time like this that I think the only reason the Attituder Era was so successful was because of Vince Russo, who was the head writer at the beginning and through most of the era that saw the WWE come out on top.

Oh yes, lets not forget that he has been known to go up to the Smackdown superstars and tell them that they lack passion and other things. If you didn't know why Booker T got in a fight with him, that was a reason. Last time I checked, just because you won one World Title doesn't mean your are the backstage leader or can openly critisize people. Also he said that AJ Styles and TNA are nothing but "car wreck matches," and that, "That's not wrestling. Wrestling is storytelling." Wow, some wrestler. Oh, by the way roid boy, AJ would out wrestle you every time, or you can face him yourself and find out why legends such as Bret Hart, Sting, and Harley Race call him the future of wrestling.

You want to know what Batista did to deserve a title shot? The answer is simple.... NOTHING! This is the exact reason WWE is starting to make me sick, giving people title shots who dont deserve it. And I do think that Batista should be sittin on the shelf while Chris Benoit runs SmackDown! because obviously he is a true competitor and he is a champion that we all can be proud of. Not a no talent piece of S**t!

To all those people who even think that Batista measures up to stone cold, dx, the rock or undertaker, shame on you. John Cena and Batista are stiff limited wreslters, but John atleast has his good promos. Bobby Lashley is newer than Batista, in their tag matches Lashley does the work for 75% of the match, makes the tag to batista, batista who is fresh decimates others through the same moves and is the big hero at the end of the day. I'm not saying Batista totally sucks. He is a much better wrestler than wwe's latest wrestlers (not counting cm punk) and many established midcarders. I jsut think Batista needs a bit more time without the belt for 3 reasons:
1. Booker is a good champ
2. Batista needs a little more experience before getting a second title run.
3. A feud with finlay or some other high or high-midcarder could help batista's popularity.

And concerning John Cena to that "chain gang" members who meantion him and batista as the best, I like both of them as good people in their character but anyone who goes to the extent of saying the Cena is the best are really fooling themselves.

Chris Benoit is feuding with Chavo,so I don't think he will get the WHC anytime soon and he is already the US champ.Another reason is Benoit is not charismatic.I respect Chris because he doesn't whine about being held back.I hate Kurt Angle now because he keeps on bitching and whining because he has been held back and the truth is that he is not being held back.RVD and Big Show has been sent to ECW and they're not complaining.I lost so much respect for Angle.Batista is the most suitable guy for the whc,who else would you give the title to?I already given the reason why Benoit can't be champ,Rey is recovering from knee surgery,Boogeyman is out of the question,Finlay is not cut out,Kane is busy with the feud with MVP and Undertaker doesn't even want the title,if Undertaker won the title he has to make more apperances,which he couldn't handle.So Batista is the only one who is most suitable for the title right now.

You really need to catch up on your Smackdown! history.
1. It isn't a dance during his entrance.
2. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's a bad guy or that only pre-teens like him.
3. Just because you heard a few words that he said and didn't like, does not make him a bad person or wrestler. It's his opinion and he's intitalled to it. he could have been trying to get him rilled up and ready for a match.
4. Apparently Vince DOES listen to the fans, since everytime Batista comes out the crowd goes wild.

Go catch up on the last few months of wrestling and actually learn something before running your mouth off about someone just because you don't like them. Maybe that way you won't look like a complete *** next time.

Are you on drugs? I think you just been watching Batistas bad matches. He is one of the best wrestlers like John cena, The Undertaker, Stone Cold, DX, The rock and all the old wrestlers. He deserves the title King Booker is a cheater if it wasnt for his ugly little girlfriend he wouldnt be king, Lashley would have been king of the ring and he wouldnt be champion Batista would be champion again right now.

Do you even watch WWE. you see how dominating he is. and first of all he did not lose the title, Mark Henry threw him in the cage and Batista broke his ribs. Like eric said controversy creates cash. Batista=controversy=cash(Transitive Property) and Dave is a half Filipino(Dave BAUTISTA) don't ever underestimate the passion of the Filipino people

he never lost the title in a match, he had to forefit when he was injured, then he had some matches and won, so the wwe decided that he is ready to go for the title again.
